As Taim looked around to see Koegi, Rantan, and Marcus on their motorcycles bout to head out, he couldn't help but feel a little worried. He has never ridden a motorcycle before, but he didn't want the rest of the team to know that. So he mounted his bike and started it.
Koegi smiled. "Ain't it a perty sound, T.J.? I love these things, even though I did almost kill myself on one." That comment made Taim's heart skip a beat. Rantan then started his bike, "c'mon now! I wanna ride! Aaron told us to be there by 7:00. It's 6:00 now." "Ok, then shaddup and drive! Taim's gunna ride behind me," Koegi said with a slight growl to his voice. Koegi then started to follow Rantan with Taim following him. Every mile they rode, Taim started to feel more and more comfortable. Taim finally decided that he will be fine riding on the bike if he was careful.
A little while later, Marcus said, "hey guys, check this stunt out!" He shifted the handle bars and started to turn into a brick wall. Instead of hitting the wall, he started to ride the bike on the wall. HE WAS DRIVING ON THE WALL!! Taim couldn't believe what he was seeing. He has never seen anyone do this before. Koegi took Taim's attention away from Marcus when he yelled, "I can top that one, slick!!" Koegi did top it. He headed for a big bump in to rode and hit it head on, causing his bike to flip forwards and landing back on the wheels. Everyone started whooping after Koegi doing what seemed impossible.
Taim smirked. He wanted to do a stunt to impress the guys, but what? He was inexperienced with motorcycles. Then, an idea came into his head. Maybe I could do those motorcycle stunts people do on TV! Taim wanted to attempt to do a back flip on his motorcycle. "Hey guys, check this baby out!" Taim smiled a devious grin the tried to get his hands in position. As he was preparing to do this stunt, his bike hit a pothole and the handle bars shifted to the left. Taim didn't know what had happened until it was too late. He was slung off his bike while it was going almost 90 miles an hour. Koegi turned his bike around so fast that he almost got slung off his bike when he heard three cracking sounds. Taim's bike was going crazy as it finally fell down on its side, still revved up. Marcus managed to reach it and turn it off.
Rantan turned his bike around and shut it off. "What in the world made those cracking sounds?!" "I think it was Taim!" Koegi said, freaking out. They turned to see Taim almost unconscious lying on the asphalt. They both ran to him. Koegi crouched down to see if Taim was breathing.
"He's breathing but I think I figured out what made those cracking sounds!"
Rantan got wide-eyes. "What was it?!" His voice started to shake.
Koegi cursed and then said, "It was his neck. I don't know if he's paralyzed or not but"he looked down and noticed that Taim wasn't blinking. Rantan also noticed this, and he started to curse along with Koegi. "Is he dead?!" Marcus yelled from a distance. Rantan yelled back, "We're not sure! We have got to get him to Aaron fast!" Marcus and Rantan mounted their bikes while Koegi was trying to find a way to get Taim to wake up. "T.J. can you hear me?" Koegi started to clap so loud that it echoed. Taim still stared blankly without blinking. "Oh, God he's dead!" Koegi yelled. "Taim!? Can you hear me?! Are you in pain?! Dude! Does your neck hurt?" Taim finally blinked and said in a raspy voice,"
" Koegi could barely hear him, but he knew what Taim had said. Koegi carefully picked his head up from the ground and said, "T.J., we're gunna take you to Aaron and get you examined. But first, can you move your feet or hands?" Taim attempted to move his hands and feet. He successfully moved them but a rush of pain went through his whole body. Taim grunted in pain, which told Koegi that he needed to get Taim some medical attention and fast. He stood up, carefully picking Taim up so he can put him on Koegi's motorcycle. Koegi sat down on the bike and had Taim leaning on him. He held on to Taim's arms so he wouldn't fall off when they rode down to road. All the way to see Aaron, Taim couldn't help but think about how much his sister would worry about him if she saw him like this.
They finally made it to Aaron's hideout in Tito's Valley at exactly 7:00 sharp. Aaron walked out to see the three turning off their motorcycles. "Where's Taim? Did you three leave him?" Aaron said, crossing his arms and giving the three a stern look. Marcus walked up to him after parking his bike.
"Sir, on the way here, we all started doing tricks. Taim wanted to do a trick on the bike so
he decided to do one. But then he hit a pothole and his bike went haywire and he flipped off his bike." Marcus said.
Rantan continued the story," and he was gunna land on his head if his arm didn't shield it. We heard three cracks coming from his neck when he flew off
" Rantan then shuddered before continuing on,"He didn't blink for almost ten minutes. He did blink when Koegi clapped in his face and T.J. said that his neck hurted pretty badly." Aaron looked at Koegi after hearing what had happened and saw that Koegi had a limp Taim on his back. "Take Taim to the room with the medical equipment." Koegi nodded then did as he was told.
A couple of hours later, Taim woke up. "w-what happened
ACK!" His neck started to pulse with pain. Koegi looked at him as he was gripping his neck with his right hand. Koegi smirked,"haha least we know you ain't paralyzed. As to what happened
" Koegi, Rantan, and Marcus took turns telling Taim what had happened. Taim laughed. "I knew I could drive a motorcycle. I just didn't tell y'all. Hehheh. Showed me a thing or two, doesn't it?" They all started to laugh
A month later, Taim was healed. He knows how to ride a motorcycle now, and he will not try tricks anytime soon
he did tricks a week later.
